Update: No Sunday worship services, Bible studies or church activities in the building until further notice.
Dear RVBC family and friends,
We want to update you on what’s happening at RVBC in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Please read through this entire email as it contains detailed plans for keeping the church and community safe and how you can help.
In accordance with the new recommendations from the CDC and the State of New Jersey, RVBC will stop gathering for Sunday worship and in small groups for the time being at the building. This is the prudent course of action to protect our church body and the community from the coronavirus and honor the elected officials God has placed over us.
If you or someone you know tests positive for COVID-19, please let us know so we can find a way to help, pray for everyone involved, and take any necessary precautions here at RVBC.
We Are Here For You
If you need assistance such as delivery of groceries, prescriptions, errands, etc.—we are here to help. Please communicate with your small group leaders, or email us at RancocasChurch@gmail.com and we will be in touch. If you are available to assist in serving the others, please let us know.
We will use the technology available to us to remain connected as a church body. Keep an eye out for updates via email, on the website, and Facebook, and snail mail. Small group leaders will be in touch with their groups.
RVBC Online: You can to listen to sermons online on the RVBC website podcast page.
How Can You Help? Three ways:
1. Pray – Pray for those impacted by the virus, as well as their families and loved ones.
2. Give – As a ministry, we are primarily supported by you. Please take advantage of our online giving options on our website. Click here.
3. Serve – Look for opportunities to serve those in your neighborhood. Times of uncertainty create more opportunities to show the grace and to bring hope to the world. Consider offering to drop off groceries or pick up necessary supplies for others.
Psalm 46: God is our refuge and strength and we will not fear though the earth gives way. The Lord of hosts is with us, and He is our fortress.
We trust that our Father in heaven will shepherd all of God’s children here on earth.
